From #MeToo to #YouToo?: A closer look at sexual harassment in the workplace
You Are Not Your Struggles
Every day holds inspiration. If you do not believe it, look to those who make you smile; to the beautiful sunrise and sunset that occur each day. Inspiration does not have to come from a brightly colored sign placed perfectly in front of you, nor does it need to be spelled out for you. The best parts of life—the things that inspire you most, are the things that may have always been there.
If you need inspiration, here are ways to notice the smallest of joys in your life.
Look to the people you love
Friends and family are the people who hold a special place in your heart that can only be filled by the qualities they bring to the table. Sometimes, these are the people who know you better than you may even know yourself. Try to pay attention to the way they make you feel when you are with them.
Travel somewhere you have always wanted to go
The world is large and spacious, so why not explore all that it has to offer? Take a road trip or book a plane ticket and travel to somewhere beautiful, somewhere meaningful. From the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, to all the places in between, there is astonishing beauty. Beaches, mountains, and towns await you in all parts of the world. If you cannot afford to travel now, use this time to save your money for somewhere you want to visit in the future.
Find happiness in your hobbies
Having a hobby means having an activity that brings you happiness. If you like to write, write down your thoughts and feelings or invent a story. If you like to garden, challenge yourself to grow something that you love or something that you have never tried before. Whatever you enjoy, let that serve as your inspiration.
Whether you need encouragement or motivation, remember that what could inspire you most, could be something that has always been there. There are endless ways to become inspired, it is simply a matter of searching yourself.
