"You are too old!" These are four words that I heard when I reached my forties. Words that initially surprised me, yet also motivated me. I wondered if more women my age were told the same thing. The moment I heard those words I knew I had to do more to make a difference. I became a lifestyle influencer because I wanted to show women over 40 that we are still beautiful, strong, and resilient. My platform is to encourage women to love who they are and to create their space at any age.

At 49 years old, my purpose is to be a vessel for God and to share encouraging nuggets about all aspects of life so that women and men know they are worthy and loved.

My mission is to give back to the community by supporting organizations that are dear to my heart and by providing scholarships to graduating high school students at my church.

I believe in using gifts and talents that God gives us, therefore I also use poetry, art and writing as a platform to reach others.

I am a career woman, who juggles a full-time job, while being a wife, mother, and building a personal brand.

What gives me courage is knowing that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" while remembering "that no weapon formed against me shall prosper." I am proud of each gray strand that grows from my head and thankful for each year of my life. With God's help, I plan to continue letting my light shine and share wisdom to those who are open to receive it. Together we all can create our space at any age."
